In 2004, the DMI introduced the LMD system, recommended by the Ministry of Scientific Research and Higher Education. The DMI continued to insure studies in the field of maintenance organization and management, Diagnosis and behavioral analysis of industrial equipment, Reliability and industrial Risks. The DMI provided training to students by involving them in Algerian industries. The student final projects are supervised by lecturers of the department. The Research Laboratory of Solid Mechanics and Systems (LMSS) is also involved in education by providing research project in the Doctorate cycle. The access of this degree is subject to national competitive examinations. Most of the research work concern diagnosis, management, industrial risk, reliability, optimization means of supervision, decision making. Many student final projects in graduate or post-graduate studies were realized in conjunction with the help cooperation of several public and private companies from various sectors such as: mechanics, electronics, petrochemicals, building materials, civil aviation, agro-food.

CENTRE DE RECHERCHE EN TECHNOLOGIES INDUSTRIELLES, CRTI

The Research Center in Industrial Technologies, CRTI has more than 30 years experiences in different research areas including Welding and assembly techniques, Nondestructive Testing, corrosion, siderurgy & metallurgy, mechatronics, materials, coating & thin films and industrial maintenance. CRTI is under the authority of the Ministry of Scientific Research and higher Education. Since its creation, our center has greatly evolved. The laboratory of welding and nondestructive testing created in 1985 is the nucleus that gave birth to research entity of national dimension. In fact, in a decade, this laboratory was developed to set up as development unit of welding techniques and nondestructive testing which later became a research center, CSC, in 1992. During the year of 2015, our research center passed through an important step in its evolution. Thus, the center of scientific and technical research in welding and testing (CSC) gave way to Research Center in Industrial Technologies (CRTI). As a national research center, the CRTI includes several research structures all around the country. The Iron and Steel Applied Research Unit, URASM, and the Advanced Materials Research Unit, URMA situated both at the east of Algeria, Annaba, The Thin Films Development and Applications Research Unit, UDCMA at the east center of Algeria, Setif. The CRTI includes also à technological platform situated at the west center of Algiers, in the industrial area of Bou Ismail /province of Tipaza, as well as a subsidiary, CSC expertise Spa created in 2009.
